Weekly Challenge #6 - Ixorus

This week Zentangle came out with a new tangle on their website, it’s name is Ixorus and you can see it at http://archive.constantcontact.com/fs023/1101168872594/archive/1104275414191.html

Our Diva challenged us to use this new tangle in our weekly challenge and has had tremendous response. The tangle seems to lend itself to blending into other tangles. It was a joy to work with this tangle and to play with adding others to it. I hope you like the results.

  1. Nice, Joni! I also like how this tangle plays so well with the ones around it. I like how you rounded the edges of the auras.

  14. ♥ this tile, Joni! I'm going to try out some of that Ixorus tangle blending trick myself - great inspiration. Thank you! [P.S. I've just written up a comment on my posting for this week that includes a bunch of State side links for you, for those photo mugs!]

  16. I love how the lines of Ixorus lead the eye through wavy Nipa and down through Hibred between the tentacles. It gives the Ixorus jellyfish a sense of lazy motion. :)
