Our Task this week was to draw a string with our eyes wide Shut! Yikes! Inspired by the excellent result our challenge host, Laura had from her string… where she found that if you persevere success can be achieved, I blindly forged ahead (literally). This tile is the result. It’s not my favorite Zentangle ever, but I was impressed with the way I could make something out of a really crummy string (I draw much better with my eyes open). Wish I had taken a picture of the string... it was rather lame. It was a fun experience, give it a try.
Joni, I love the perspective you have created.
ReplyDeleteI like this Joni.I'm enjoying what people have done!! Love finding new sites to explore!
ReplyDeleteHi Joni, the lines around this one are just great! The perfect 'background' pushing the rest of the design forward. So far all the tiles I've seen in this challenge are pretty organic. I wonder if that's because our 'subconscious' minds are more comfortable with organic forms? Very flowing - the whole tile. ♥ it. ☺
ReplyDeleteLovely! Can you please post the site-specific URL to this post on the linkey machine? Then i can delete the one that goes to your home page. If you need help, let me know.
ReplyDeletekeep up the great work! Laura
thanks, i'll remove the other post from the linkey
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely millipede looking for someone to kiss! I like the patterns you chose for this.
ReplyDeleteNice stuff Joni...I was reading Kit's comment how she feels the lines push the design forward...my first view was that it created an almost cushioning effect and the central design is 'snuggling' inside :) You've done a great job to allow for mixed interpretations. I love your use of Betweed and the lovely wriggly wormy things on the right :D
ReplyDeleteWow! Really nice!
ReplyDeleteThis is great! It really has a lot of movement! Love it!
ReplyDeleteCool! It's a flower garden, no a snail, no a gnome home... the more I look the more I see! Wow!
ReplyDeleteWhispering ~ Trust
ReplyDeleteThose radiating lines really add some POW factor to this piece.
ReplyDeleteThere's more to see in this zentangle than you would think at first sight. Amazing.
ReplyDeleteLovely tangle - the shading really makes it pop - I could learn a lot from studying this one. Thanks
ReplyDeleteLove those lines that draw your eye in to where the fun is! I see the flower but feel a trumpet or horn playing in there. Love it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
