I've been wanting to explore the idea of doing a tile with just one tangle for some time so when the Diva came up with this weeks challenge, I jumped on it. Paradox is one of my favorite tangles, and I wondered if I started with a hexagon in the center of my tile and took the paradox on out to the edges of the tile, what would it look like. Well now I know, and it looks pretty cool. Thanks Laura for giving me the push I needed.
this is really effective Joni; I must check out the paradox pattern now. A nice result to the challenge set for you.
ReplyDeleteJoni, thank you for the suggestions on the names. I checked them out and the one is definitely betweed, not too sure on the florez one yet. That one is really close so maybe it's the same, just a variation. I'm so new to this stuff...
ReplyDeleteYour tangles are excellent. I enjoy every one of them!
Love paradox monotangle!
ReplyDeleteYou sure did jump right in Joni, and succeeded, fabulous!
ReplyDeleteLovely job on Paradox, it is definitely KOOL! (that's my very hep spelling) Nice use of shading also.
ReplyDeleteFantastic use of paradox!
ReplyDeleteI chose to do Paradox too....but yours looks so much more polished. Great job !
ReplyDeleteThat really does look cool! I haven't tried Paradox in another shape other than square or triangle yet. I chose Paradox for mine too :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! I really need to practice and maybe just have fun with the process--I would love to make something that looks that cool!
ReplyDeleteLooks awesome - but this one hurts my eyes, too! LOL It reminds me of a pretty hair style....
ReplyDeleteI will never tire of all the ways I've seen Paradox! This is really pretty, Joni!
