Challenge 71- Pea-nuckle + Dare 6

Tangles: Pea-nuckle, Hollybaugh, Floatfest and some stripes
This week we were to use the new tangle "Pea-nuckle" by Molly Hollibaugh.  Adding a little more challenge for myself I tried to combine the Diva's Challenge with Erin's Dare  #6.  What a difficult task  for me.  Pea-nuckle definitely has a learning curve involved and although I like it as the background, I think it would have looked better at a larger scale.  It was fun having Hollibaugh and Floatfest join forces for the center of this Zendala.  I hope you like it.

  1. A beautiful tile, I like it a lot. The addition of red in the star shape really makes it float. How cunning to combine the challenge and the dare.

  5. Wow, this is great! I really grew to like pea-nuckle this week thanks to Laura and one of my favorite patterns is floatfest, so I'm really loving what you did here!!! And, what you did with floatfest by joining the inner ends is genius! It looks great that way.

  9. Ooooo, beeyootiful!
I found I did Peanuckle too small at first too. Hollibaugh and Floatfest do work nicely together there.

  15. I am also a great fan of the center tangle. It has amazing movement and the pea-knuckle was a great filler for the edges.
