Challenge 72 - Tanglelation Nation

 Tangle used Crescent Moon
This week for our weekly challenge the Diva has asked us to do a monotangle entry using the infamous "Crescent Moon" tangle.  We were supposed to create a "tangleation" expanding our horizons with this tile.  I chose to use a pre-strung Zendala tile for my tile, and although I like the results, I'm afraid I didn't do much tangelating.  It was a challenge to do a mono-tangle in a prestrung zendala.

Zendala Dare No. 7

Having fun with the zendala dare this week.  The first picture is how it really looks, but I thought I would play with my photo editing software and try some special effects...

This is with a Vignette added ... cool, but what if(hmmm)
I made a negative of it?

I'm having way too much fun.  Oh yeah ... there's no such thing.  Thanks Erin for a great challenge once again.

Challenge 71- Pea-nuckle + Dare 6

Tangles: Pea-nuckle, Hollybaugh, Floatfest and some stripes
This week we were to use the new tangle "Pea-nuckle" by Molly Hollibaugh.  Adding a little more challenge for myself I tried to combine the Diva's Challenge with Erin's Dare  #6.  What a difficult task  for me.  Pea-nuckle definitely has a learning curve involved and although I like it as the background, I think it would have looked better at a larger scale.  It was fun having Hollibaugh and Floatfest join forces for the center of this Zendala.  I hope you like it.

Challenge 70 - Sepia

This week's Diva challenge was to add some sepia tones (or brown) to your tangling.   My photo looks a little on the purple side, but honest I did use a sepia micron for this.

If the string looks familiar that is because I'm doing some catching up on the zendala dare by Erin.  This uses the string for Dare #1.

Zendala Dare No. 5

Tangles used: Bales, Florez, Flux and Paradox.

It's hard to believe we are already up to week 5 with the zendala dare.  I'm having a lot of fun doing these, and it is so nice to have the round zendala tiles to work on.  It's time to order some more from Zentangle.com

I got a bit carried away with adding color to this one.  Thanks, Erin for your wonderful templates!

Weekly Challenge 69 and Zendala Dare No 4

I'm combining two challenges this week,  The Diva's weekly Challenge asked that we use the tangle "groovy" by Eden Hunt, and I'm using the string from Erin's Weekly Zendala Dare.  This is done on one of the blank zendalas I received from Zentangle. Groovy is the tangle in red.  I also used "Gloven" and just winged it in other areas.  It was fun making it all work for both challenges.  This is the first time I've tangled in color, I used a sharpie ultra fine point, but I think next time I'll use a Sakura pigma 01 in color - the sharpie is still too fat.

Challenge 68 - Stircle & Hybrid

This week's challenge from the Diva, is to use the tangles *Stircle* and *Hybrid* in a zentangle!  I grabbed a couple glasses from the cupboard to make a round string, using the smaller glass to make the three overlapping circles.  It was fun to work in the round.  Thank you Laura for another Duo-tangle Challenge.
